A South African voice over artist in English & isiZulu. A warm, approachable and authoritative voice for your next project.
Hi, I’m Silas…
I’m Silas Lekgoathi, a South African voice over artist based in Ballito, KwaZulu-Natal, working with clients across South Africa and worldwide. Since 2012 I’ve voiced TV and radio campaigns, e-learning, documentaries and corporate films for brands including ABSA, BMW, Toyota, Old Mutual, Investec and the BBC.
My voice is warm, rich and friendly, with a neutral South African accent that works for local and international audiences. I record in English and isiZulu from my own broadcast-quality home studio, deliver most scripts within 24–48 hours, and can join live directed sessions over Source-Connect, Zoom or Teams.
It’s what I’m best known for
I have work experience in a number of formats.
With a proven track record of delivering outstanding results for a diverse range of clients. Throughout my career, I have worked with some of the most reputable and successful brands in their respective industries, in fields such as e-learning and training modules, documentary and film narration, commercial advertising, corporate narration, and AGM videos among others.
Some of the clients I have worked with include:
Brands such as FNB, Old Mutual, Alexander Forbes, Investec, Toyota, DSTV, Jack Daniels, Cipla Pharmaceuticals, the South African Department of Education, Volkswagen, BBC, and BMW have all trusted me to bring their projects to life with my voice.
